Laser Press wood Pallets

We manufacture Laser Press wood pallets by compressing wood chips under high pressure and high temperature. Compressed wooden pallets are comparatively durable in addition to high density of compressed wood chips. These compressed wooden pallets are Biodegradable and 100% eco-friendly.

Businesses and manufacturers are constantly looking for better quality pallets, to help them increase efficiency through lower transport duration and costs. Press wood pallets, also known as moulded wooden pallets, are made of wood by products such as waste pallets, raw wood shavings, wood waste, saw-dust and any other material containing wooden fibre.

Features of Laser Press wood Pallets

It has a low tear weight (total weight of pf trailer when vehicle is empty ) compared to traditional wooden pallets.
It is easier to handle, cheaper to transport and suitable for air freight.
They are also both stackable and nestable, helping to reduce storage space and freight costs during shipment.
It is eco-friendly as they are made from ‘resinous’ trees (pine, fir, etc.), the chips come directly from logging and sawmills or from the wood recycling industry.
It is also safe for manual / auto handling.

Manufacturing process Laser Press wood Pallets

Compressed wooden pallets are manufactured in the similar way as particle boards are made. This manufacturing process involves mixing wood particles or flakes together with a resin before moulding into sheets. In order to separate the wooden chips into smaller pieces, primarily it is passed through a small hammer mill. With the help of a small sieve, they are separated according to their sizes. The chips are then dried at temperatures of 65°C. This is done to extract as much moisture as possible up to a level of less than 10%. Once dry, the chips are then moulded using a compression moulding process with a similar binder to particle boards. The pressure and temperatures involved can reach as high as 85kg/cm2 and 150°C, respectively. This temperature allows to kill all living plant pests while the compression moulding process. It has high density of 1.3g/ cm3, which makes it pest resistant.

This processed wood product is exempted from the IPPC’s ISPM15 export packaging regulations.
It is 33% lighter than new hardwood pallets.
It has 52% greater resistance to fork-related, pallet edge damage compared to nailed pallet boards
Since the product is manufactured using high temperatures and sanitized at 350 degrees, it is free from unwanted pests and contaminates. Hence, they are available at low cost, hassle free to export around the world.
Old pallets which are no longer usable can be easily shredded and reglued to make new press wood pallets. They are also made using recycled wood, all of which can significantly reduce a company’s carbon footprint and save money.
